it is a pattern. because of what i find most interesting about this new development with mr. nix, the head of cambridge, who sometimes in the summer reaches out to julian assange at wikileaks and says can you provide the missing hillary clinton e-mails, where did he get the idea that wikileaks might have these e-mails? well on august 6th, and we don t know exactly when this e-mail was sent from nix to assange, but on august 6th, rt runs a story playing it up. saying headlined, does wikileaks had v the e-mails that could put hillary clinton in jail. when you have examples of where rt russian state propaganda gets into the bloodstream and in some ways is manipulating the trump
ongoing. i think it is also important to say that, you know, there is an argument from the white house that is completely spee shous. when they fain the outrage at the hip pocksy of the democrats, that should be put aside. that is just propaganda and it is ridiculous because the grain of truth in that is exactly what rosenstein writes in his letter. you ask my career prosecutor or law enforcement figure who has not been politicized, they will tell you the way comey handled himself in the clinton investigation was to throw justice department procedures over the rail. it was completely inappropriate. but that does not justify there is no way that would be a reason why the president decided to fire jim comey now. let s remember, candidate trump threatened to put hillary clinton in jail. that was his commitment to justice department ideals, to threaten his political opponent in such a way.
there certainly is a rationale case to be made that james comey made mistakes, it seems like there s irrefutable, certainly smoke, and likely fire, that this was made for different reasons. that the reasons that the president is now relying ining the opposite of what he s been saying for months. and even in his letter, in his letter, he referenced investigation into himself. and that s clearly what was on his mind. and that s what people are concerned about. and the president as a candidate, he praised the job that jim repeatedly. so did the attorney general, say that comey did the right thing. the idea tom, you re exactly right about rod rosenstein. but the idea that they want to wrap themselves in the cloak of big justice here, is absolutely without merit and not credible. they didn t care. we had the candidate for president of the united states say that he wanted to put hillary clinton in jail. and that he would pursue that. that s what that s how tyrants talk. now he
donald trump while he called her crooked hillary and said he was going to lock her up. but i do think that you have to remember that the people who supported donald trump and the people who voted donald trump into office see him differently than we do. they see him as a vessel for a lot of different feelings and a lot of different positions. even talking to them on the campaign trail a lot of them would say, i don t necessarily believe donald trump is going to build a wall and i don t believe he is going to deport everyone here illegally or throw hillary clinton in jail. i like that he sounds tough when he is talking about it. put out a tough stance. that makes it really difficult for us to say how he s going to govern as president and that means that he has taken different sides on every single issue. for his core supporters, i don t necessarily think a lot of them will be surprised to see him begin to change. they don t have any choice because they re with him. a lot of my friends
20 million people use it and it sounds crazy but a lot of people like it. keep it. let s just keep it. i m sorry, keep it? keep it. no change. let s hold that for later, all right. also they are going to make it hard for us to hire a special prosecutor to put hillary clinton in jail. don t do it. don t do it? scrap it. she didn t do anything. scrap. sir, being president is not going to be easy. but we ll get through fit we work hard together. thank you, mike. oh, and mike, you re going to do everything, right? yes, sir. there they are against trump and pence co-presidents. comedy making a serious point here. lots of people curious about how invested president trump is in this job, how much he ll delegate versus being hands on. some of it was coming through in
