Ethiopia's Tsegay Kidanu (46:08) and Uganda's Sara Chelangat (52:04) were the overall winners, but Bor won the $50k bonus prize money for breaking the 40-year-old American record by 2-seconds. Sara Hall was 2nd overall to win the US title in 52:37.
Local school teacher Susanna Sullivan is back to try to defend her title against the likes of Nell Rojas, Sara Hall, and Caroline Rotich. Hillary Bor leads the US men's field. Woody Kincaid has scratched.
