idid as i did as well until my bike got stolen. and you may have just been watching a few hill climbs in the tour de france, which hasjust finished and the tour de femme which hasjust started. now, these elite events are set to provide even more of a boost to bike sales, but can the industry keep up? well, to talk us through how this is effecting the industry, joining me now is tim goodall managing director of uk bike manufacturer islabikes. do you think the boom that we saw in the pandemic was a i off spike, orare saw in the pandemic was a i off spike, or are you seeing sustained interest in cycling? at the moment it is certainly deflated a little bit, the boom, it s fair to say that what appears to have happened a lot of sales were brought forward into 2020 which we might have seen in 21 or 22, our experience is our sales are even below pandemic levels at the moment. but i think it s just going to be a short term
