Biography
As a qualified midwife, Hilary Goodman led the ANNB (antenatal and newborn) screening programmes at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as the ANNB screening co-ordinator and then as the deputy head of midwifery. Her interest in screening ensured it remained high on the agenda.
Having supported many women through their pregnancies, Hilary has a keen interest in ensuring equitable care. She is a passionate advocate of personal informed choice for women to get the information and individualised support they need throughout their pregnancy and screening journeys.
Hilary is currently working within the maternity and children’s team for the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight integrated care system, where she continues to work closely with maternity services.
