Queensbury senior living facility plans $27.2M expansion

QUEENSBURY The Glen at Hiland Meadows on Monday announced plans for a $27.2 million project that would expand its independent living residences on Longview Drive with the addition of 28 apartments, a new Wellness Center, and a new Memory Care Center.
The Glen at Hiland Meadows is a joint venture of the Conkling Center, formerly the Glens Falls Home, and The Eddy, part of St. Peter s Health Partners. The expansion of Independent Living and the addition of a Memory Care Center on campus will not only enable us to offer a continuum of care for our residents as their health needs change, but will also allow us to provide these vital services to the greater north country community as they age, said Mary Farr, peresident of The Glen at Hiland Meadows board of directors.
