The driver suspected of causing an 8-car crash that killed a pedestrian and injured three others in San Francisco on Thursday was under the influence and recklessly driving a stolen vehicle, police said.
Jerry Lyons, 31 who was among four people who were injured in the 8-car crash was arrested and booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, felony hit and run, DUI causing injury to another, driving a stolen vehicle, reckless driving causing injury to another, possession of stolen property, hit and run/property damage, failure to stop for a red light, speeding and committing an offense while on post release community supervision, San Francisco police said Thursday night.
