FOOD delivery drivers are causing a parking nightmare . Councillors are raising fears over congestion in Barrow caused by Uber Eats drivers parking as they wait to collect food before delivery. Crellin Street, near McDonald s in the town centre, and Hollywood Retail Park have been named as problem areas. The issue was discussed by Barrow s Highways Advisory Group. Chair of the group Bill McEwan said: It s very congested. It s becoming a nightmare around Crellin Street and Hollywood Park. Cllr McEwan said they were concerns about delivery drivers parking on double yellow lines while they wait for orders. Cumbria County Council s local committee Barrow heard that a meeting wth the land agent for Hollywood Park had taken place to discuss congestion concerns.
