CCTV was said to show four men in a white van with face coverings stealing the caravan. The robbery was said to take just 12 minutes at 1am. As soon as Mr Slack returned to find his caravan missing, he called the police to report the incident. Sarah Griffiths, whose husband works alongside Mr Slack, said: “Everything has gone, everything he owned, all his memories. “He was left with the clothes on his back, just his uniform. “They’ve taken his entire life.” Mrs Griffiths said that the NHS worker had plans to retire from his job at the hospital in a few years so he could move with the caravan to live nearer to his children in Cornwall.
