Highway Holdings Limited (Nasdaq:HIHO) today reported results for its fiscal third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2020, reflecting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its customers and supply chain. Net sales for the fiscal 2021 third quarter were $2.5 million compared with $3.6 million a year ago. For the same period, net income was $84,000, or $0.02 per diluted share, compared with $318,000, or $0.08 per diluted share, in the same quarter a year earlier. For the nine months, net sales were $7.3 million compared with $9.6 million a year ago. For the same period, the company reported net income of $90,000, or $0.02 per diluted share, compared with a net income of $123,000, or $0.03 per diluted share, a year earlier.
