February 10, 2021 - 12:02 PM The Coquihalla Highway s northbound lanes are closed this morning just north of Hope following a fatal collision this morning. Around 9:40 a.m. today, Feb. 10, B.C. Ambulance and local rescue services responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway about five kilometres north of the Highway 3 and Highway 5 split, according to an RCMP media release. At this time there are an undetermined number of people injured and one person has died, RCMP said. Road and weather conditions may be factors in the crash. Traffic control personnel are on scene, as Highway 5 northbound remains closed at the junction with Highway 3.
