His 2015 poetry collection was a finalist for the book award. Sawnee EMC announces new director of foundation board, donates to local food banks Adrian Flack
The Sawnee Electric Membership Foundation announced on Friday, Jan. 22, that Ed Ledbetter, a founding member of the Sawnee Foundation Board, retired from his director position. The Sawnee EMC Board of Directors appointed Adrian Flack to serve Ledbetter’s unexpired term on Thursday, Jan. 21.
Ledbetter served as a Foundation Director for over 17 years, voluntarily serving the local community. Flack has similar experience serving the Forsyth County community through various organizations. Flack is also a local business owner in Forsyth.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Flack to his new role on the Sawnee Foundation’s Board and we extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Mr. Ledbetter for his dedication to service and helping those in need,” said Deborah Pelfrey, chairwoman of the Sawnee Foundation Board.
