An auto dealership in Skowhegan is coming out of a year of pandemic with a string of good news.
Hight Ford was recently recognized with two of Ford Motor Co. s top awards for the second straight year, and has also broken ground on a 3,000-square-foot specialty retail addition at its 250 Madison Ave. location in Skowhegan.
The company was started by Walter Hight in 1911 and now, besides Hight Ford, the dealership family owns Hight Chevrolet Buick GMC, in Skowhegan; Hight Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, in Madison; and Hight Chevrolet Buick GMC, in Farmington. The company employs about 100 across the four locations.

Hight Ford and Hight Family of Dealerships was awarded the 2020 Ford President’s Award and One Ford Elite Award for the second year in a row. To celebrate, they broke ground on a new building to expand its services.
