It appears scaled-down versions of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are likely a go at Pennsylvania’s restaurant and bars, nearly a year after the Irish theme parties were abruptly canceled due to COVID-19 shutdowns.
Gov. Tom Wolf is not considering implementing new restrictions at this time, said Lynday Kensinger, a spokeswoman for the governor.

Lebanon County businessman Christopher Gebhard was chosen to be the Republican candidate to compete in a three-person race in the May 18 special election to fill the open 48th state senatorial district seat.
GOP conferees from the senatorial district, which includes all of Lebanon County and parts of Dauphin and York counties, gathered in a closed meeting on Saturday at the Lebanon County Exposition Center to pick their party’s nominee to fill the seat that was vacated due to the Jan. 17 death of Dave Arnold.
