This injection-molded packaging for cosmetics products is made from a copolyester with 30% certified recycled content.
Clio is part of the “K-beauty” phenomenon, an umbrella term for skin-care products derived from South Korea that focus on health, hydration, and an emphasis on brightening effects. With the launch, Clio becomes the first K-beauty brand to use Cristal Renew
TM, a sustainable resin derived from Eastman s (www.eastman.com) molecular recycling technologies. Cristal Renew is an appropriate packaging fit for the innovative Prism Highlighter Duo, which gives skin a natural glow and three-dimensional effect without feeling artificial.
Eastman s Cristal Renew met Clio s need for the sustainable packaging option their consumers are demanding while still meeting their product requirements for excellent transparency, glossiness, and strength.
Next up: it’s blush. Chopra uses a Chanel compact blusher, the latest of which is the ultra-pretty Fleurs De Printemps Blush and Highlighter Duo, and blends it over her cheekbones and up to her temples. “I like going a little bit on the sides of my face,” she says. “[It] gives [my face] a little shape.” Her next make-up artist-approved trick is to use the same brush to lightly blend the blusher over her eyelids, for a little pop of colour and to bring the face together.
Since our eyes are everything nowadays (“Eyes are important on Zoom!”), Chopra swears by an eyelash curler to wake her eyes up, and then applies mascara afterwards – including on the bottom lashes. Then, she brushes her eyebrows, using a pencil to fill in the gaps, while still keeping them “super natural”.
