Palm Harbor man in serious condition after U S 19 accident

PALM HARBOR – A 69-year-old Palm Harbor man is in serious after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Dec. 23 on U.S. Highway 19. Florida Highway Patrol reports state that the wreck occurred at approximately 7:36 p.m. at the U.S. 19 intersection with Highlands Boulevard, between Alderman Road and Nebraska Avenue. The FHP states that the Palm Harbor man was driving a sedan northbound on U.S. 19 in the left-turn lane at the intersection with Highlands Boulevard. The second vehicle, a sedan driven by a 22-year-old Beverly Hills woman, was headed southbound on U.S. 19 in the inside lane, north of Highlands.
