Missionary and activist Sean Feucht, who has been at the center of several large health mandate defying Christian gatherings since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, is now at odds with religious and nonprofit leaders in Los Angeles who oppose his two-day New Year’s worship event that kicked off on Skid Row.
Christian musician Sean Feucht’s controversial “Let Us Worship” rallies concluded on New Year’s Eve with hundreds of people gathered at Higher Vision Church in Valencia as the Santa Clarita Valley continues its fight against a COVID-19 surge.
The open-air event started Thursday night, as attendees, some of whom were masked and socially distanced while others weren’t, sang, prayed, cheered and danced in crowds despite government restrictions on religious services that require physical distancing and masks to be worn at all times.
Many, if not most, of those who attended were residents from outside of the SCV, even California. Some Higher Vision Church members present declined to comment.
Worship Protest To Be Hosted In Valencia On New Year’s Eve
A northern California volunteer pastor and nonprofit founder plans to hold an outdoor worship event at a Valencia church on New Year’s Eve as the final event of his “Let Us Worship” faith protests he has been holding across the country over the past several months.
Sean Feucht, a former Republican Congressional candidate and volunteer pastor for Bethel Church in Redding, CA, plans to culminate his series of outreach events with “Let Us Worship,” a concert and worship event set to take place in the parking lot of Higher Vision Church in unincorporated Valencia.
