Hands down, Keiynan Lonsdale was the best part of last yearâs high school dance comedy
Work It, turning in a âdeliciously cattyâ performance as the filmâs chief antagonist, as I described it at the time. Although I would have probably fallen for his âoverconfident bullyâ character regardless, I was particularly taken by the Australian performerâs skillful dancing prowess, especially during a scene where he spontaneously breaks into some rather impressive voguing. Lonsdale is a natural actor, but when heâs offered the opportunity to combine his talents with some fancy footwork, he positively lights up the screen.
