It was a chilly night for many folks on the Central Coast, and we’ll be getting another round of freezing temperatures in the interiors. Plus, a High Surf Advisory is still in effect.
It sure was a chilly morning especially for those interior valleys. Beaches in SLO County and northern Santa Barbara County are dealing with high surf.
The National Weather Service in Hawaii issued a High Surf Warning for north and west faces beaches. At least one swimmer was reported missing in the rough conditions.
Locals said the surf event was one of the largest events of the year. Surfers took advantage of the waves on Friday in Waimea Bay on the island of O’ahu.
