BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX19) - It’s National Teacher Appreciate Week and to mark the occasion, the Boone County School District has planned special events to celebrate and say thank you to the teachers for all their hard work.
Ryle High School Principal Matt Shafer says the PTSA and student council have worked hard planning each day of the week.
On Wednesday, teachers dressed in clothes like the ones they wore in the decade they graduated. The PTSA also set up a lemonade and sweet tea bar.
