Jessica rae incident. A 28 year old sioux arrested after police say he stole at least 5 cars in the area. Authorities say mackquiber brackamonte stole those between october and december of this year. When police found the vehicles, they had several parts taken off of them and were in the process of being stripped. Hes currently being charged with multiple counts of felony theft and ongoing criminal conduct. A 47 thousand dollar bond. Around six this morning a call came in for a car fully engulfed in flames in the drive way of 2601 sheridan street on sioux citys north side. The car was dangerously close to the residence so caution had to be taken by the Sioux City Fire Department and Sioux City Police department that responded to the cause of the fire was not immediately detective hutton tells us the damage appears to be contained to the car. Where everything happened today. A plainclothed officer walked back and forth here all day. Looking for drivers who were speeding. Texting. And not yielding to pedestrians. Nats crossing the street.
