Sephora will be opening 16 new locations in Pennsylvania and three of the new locations are in the Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg and Hanover area.
The new Sephora stores in the midstate will open inside the Kohl’s stores at Paxton Towne Centre, 5125 Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township; 6444 Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township and at 360 Eisenhower Drive in Hanover.
While the other 13 stores in Pennsylvania will open inside Kohl’s stores in the Altoona, West Mifflin, Cranberry Township, Easton, Erie, Havertown, Huntingdon, Pittsburgh, Yardley, Bethel Park, Morton, Bartonsville and Trexlertown areas.
Vacant spaces on the East Shore: More than 100 empty stores including a number of former big box retailers

While the West Shore has a number of empty retail spaces, the East Shore area surrounding Harrisburg seems to have many more.
Bon-Ton, HHGregg, A.C. Moore and Wolf Furniture have all closed for good in recent years, leaving behind large, vacant stores on the East shore, some of which have been empty for years. Other retailers like Macy’s have closed stores as they try to focus on more profitable regions.
And the empty spaces didn’t just pop up yesterday as the “retail apocalypse” has been going on for years. But last year’s shutdowns, capacity restrictions and a decrease in foot traffic related to COVID-19 have left numerous retailers closing their doors.

Construction is in progress at the former Infinito’s Pizza location at The Point shopping center in Lower Paxton Township.
Infinito’s Pizza previously moved to a different location at the shopping center. And now construction is taking place at its former space for a new Panera Bread location that will include a drive-thru. Panera Bread is currently located at the location next to the former Infinito’s space and has been at the shopping center for more than 17 years.
Updated: 1:35 PM EST Jan 27, 2021 Police in Dauphin County said they want to identify a man accused of trying to lure a child.The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday in Swatara Township.According to police, the child reported that the man exposed himself and asked if the child wanted to engage in sex acts.Police said the man was driving a white Nissan Frontier. He was last seen leaving High Pointe Commons and traveling toward Lindle Road, police said.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-564-2550 or submit a tip online.
