Max rodriguez, founder of the harlem book fair, this is the fourth of our discussion following a presentation by the author, and we have an online video Book Discussion program and we have the presentation of the annual book awards. We hope you will stay. I have the honor of presenting mister eddie glaude, the author of a new book titled democracy in black, how ray still enslave the american soul. Eddie glaude is a professor at Princeton University teaching and the Religion Department and production of africanamerican studies. He writes for Time Magazine and democracy now. This book intrigues me. It is very thoughtprovoking, provocative and the title itself says that. It is quite offputting how race still enslave the american soul. How many ideas we have in that title, the idea of race, enslavement, the american soul. I find it interesting because we were never able to answer that question, groundedness of truth, absoluteness of truth and being truth. And life as

Hillary clinton, heading in her partys Convention May not face the outward upon opposition. On the surface at least, the Democratic Party unified behind her. But for all of the smooth sailing there are discordant notes which she ignores at her peril and shows problems with her candidacy. In the early 1990s, after 12 years of republican presidencies, the democrats felt their party needed to change. 1992, we had a new agenda and it was different.
