Two super high altitude firing ranges in Arunachal Pradesh, India, have been made available to the armed forces for training purposes. The Mandala and Kamrala firing ranges, located at an altitude of over 10,000 feet, are within 50 kilometers of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China s Tibet Autonomous Region. The initiative to provide the land for the firing ranges was taken by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who stated that national interests come first.
