certainly, that would be the strategy that i think anybody who has been in politics for a long time would recommend. i disagree with jerry of the notion that it reinforces everything that people dislike about the clintons reinforces what the clintons opponents have tried to make people feel about the clintons for a long time. you had a president who is very popular. her as a very popular candidate and secretary of state and continuing to lead in the polls and have high fafshvorability numbers. they are very very high. up in the high 40s. higher than jeb bush. i think that s the problem. the other point is it s the trust issue. and also everybody is saying why on earth does she have this private server? why doesn t she bring put all the material available? why have so many e-mails been destroyed? these are all good questions.
take that number and run with it. i know president obama would probably take that number. sort of in the mid to high 40s right now. and love to have it. you and i talked about this when you look back at her when she was secretary of state, her approval rating was at 69%, wolf so what this means is that she s gone down from that because she is in the realm of the political again. when she was secretary of state, people were like she was above politics. now her unfavorables are at 44%. that s not zero wolf and her poll numbers have taken a dip since the e-mail controversy. it remains to be seen how hillary clinton wears as a presidential candidate. we ve seen her as a candidate before, wolf. she wasn t the best. she obviously got beaten by barack obama. it remains to be seen how she wears on the campaign trail. on the democratic side in the race for the nomination at least now it doesn t look like much of a fight. on republican side on the other hand, a clear fight, about 10 11 mon

ceos have said we re going to hire more people compared to low 50s, high 40s over a year ago. do you think january has been a rocky start. duke that will change that do you think that will change that view? i don t think so. i think you have a fundamental disconnect between the ceo confidence and investor confidence. what s the impact of quantitative easing. but the ceo community, there s a long-term perspective here that i m not going to change in order to react to a short-term volatility in the marketplace. you re going to have that in the next year. there s this confidence with ceos but the folks watching at home are saying, i m not feeling great about the economy. how do we bridge that gap?
