Ernest Eramon Whisenand, age 82, of Higbee, MO, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Ernest was born in Newton, Iowa, on February 28, 1941. He was the son of the late Thame and Ruth (Scoville) Whisenand. He married Judy (Janson) on December 27, 1963, in Kirksville, MO.
Ernest was a hard worker and held several positions during his career. He worked for banks in Higbee and Fayette, then went to work as an investigator for Equifax and worked there for over 30 years and retired from there. He then went to work for the Department of Social Services as a benefits specialist. He retired from the state in 2018, and then went back to work part-time, where he was still currently employed.
