April 19, 2021 A POST has been circulating on the social media stating that the Cagayan de Oro City s Higala App poses a security risk, as well as red-tagging City Councilor Malou Seriña Gaane and some city hall employees. The post contains a photo showing the alleged connections between some of the city hall employees, one of whom is a staff of Gaane, to the New People s Army (NPA). Gaane is the principal author of the Higala App ordinance. Asked for his reaction, City Mayor Oscar Moreno said those who red-tagged the city councilor and the city s employees are trolls who are not worth being dignified with a reply.

Higala App dry run extended until May 4
