It is a new year, new look and new name for the former Blue Corn Brewery in Santa Fe.
After renovations and a revamped menu, the building is now home to Hidden Mountain Brewery, owned by Santa Fe Dining.
“We just wanted to, basically, use that name because it kind of presents an idea of northern Rio Grande Valley clean air, clean water, and we basically just built on that idea of a New Mexican concept, something that uses local ingredients and local climate,” said Rick Pedram, president of Santa Fe Dining. “We try to get as much of our stuff that we need to create the beers from local sources, so it just kind of blended itself really well together. And then we thought the best food that could possibly go with the beer would be barbecue and just kind of the concept of outdoors.”
