Aussie law firm acquires another, bolsters senior headcount

An Australian law firm has kicked off the new year with the acquisition of another firm and appointment of two senior lawyers.
HHG Legal Group has further bolstered its team across the family law and criminal law space with the appointment of Claire Harrison and Naomi Sherrington, who joined HHG as a senior associate and senior lawyer, respectively.
Ms Harrison brings over 10 years’ experience in family law, having specialised in assisting clients with divorce and separation, parenting arrangements, child relocation and complex property settlements and disputes. Meanwhile, Ms Sherrington brings over eight years’ experience in criminal defence and prosecution, holding particular expertise in complex criminal law matters, traffic law and quasi-criminal jurisdictions.
