A man found dead in his home in Easley on Monday has been identified as Heyward “Trey” Delno Price III, according to Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley.
His death is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Pickens County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Office.
Price was found dead in his home at 207 Shade Tree Circle. In a press release, Kelley said Price died of a gunshot wound. The coroner s office will not be releasing any more information on the victim due to the current investigation into his death.
There were no weapons found at the scene.
Updated: 3:02 PM EDT May 12, 2021 The Pickens County Sheriff s Office is asking for help finding a vehicle of interest after a man was found dead in his home Monday morning. Chief Deputy Chad Brooks said Heyward “Trey” Delno Price III was found dead at his home on Shade Tree Circle. The death is being investigated as a homicide. The coroner said Price died of a gunshot wound. Brooks said no weapon was found at the scene. No one has been arrested in the case. On Wednesday, authorities released the stock picture below as a vehicle of interest in the case. A vehicle of interest has been identified by the Pickens County Sheriff s Office in the homicide investigation involving a man found dead in his home on Monday, according to a press release from Chief Deputy Chad Brooks.
Brooks is requesting help from the public to find an orange minivan, similar to a Dodge Caravan.
