Real estate fans have plenty to see as the popular Parade of Homes kicks off this weekend, both in person and with some virtual tours as homebuying booms in Sioux Falls.
From 1-5 p.m. on the weekends of May 15-16 and 22-23, homebuyers and those interested in home renovation inspiration can see over 30 new construction homes in person and a half-dozen more virtually.
The trendy home show has been held for 50 years. The Parade of Homes was more limited last year due to COVID-19, and will follow precautions this year.
The Spring 2021 event will still encourage social distancing, avoiding touching surfaces and will more feature virtual tours than ever. The Parade of Homes states that those displaying coronavirus symptoms may not be granted access to the home. Seniors, the immunocompromised and children are advised to not attend the event, according to guidelines set forth by event planners.
