Popular Carolyn Bradbury was well known throughout the district for her many years of service with Hexham Amateur Stage Society (HASS), and the Hexham Courant, where she worked as a telesales executive for 16 years. But the popular mother and grandmother died on January 27, less than 24 hours after being diagnosed with coronavirus, at the age of just 59. Carolyn was extremely vulnerable to the virus due to her ailing health over the past six years, suffering from Parkinson’s disease and a related form of dementia.
