Samsung Galaxy A52 5G with 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Infinity-O display, Snapdragon 750G said to launch in India soon
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 4G smartphones in India back in March, but it didn’t launch the Galaxy A52 5G version in the country. But it might launch it in India soon, as the company has started working on the firmware for Galaxy A52 5G (SM-A526B), according to the latest report from Sammobile.
The 5G version has a 120Hz refresh rate screen compared to 90Hz in the 4G version and is powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC compared to Snapdragon 720G. Other specifications are similar.

Samsung just launched the Galaxy M42 5G, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in India, as it had announced. It packs a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U HD+ display, is powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA, up to 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11 with OneUI 3.1 on top and has Knox security with secure folder, AltZ with Quick switch, content suggestion and Samsung Pay.
It packs quad rear cameras that include 48 MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera 5MP macro camera, and 5MP depth of field camera for live focus and a 20MP front camera. The phone has a 3D design and layered pattern offering a comfortable grip and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G specifications and design revealed
The premiere of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will take place tomorrow, and there is a lot of talk that the company didn’t bother to create a new model, it would simply resort to the rebranding maneuver, beloved by it and the Chinese companies. The device should be just a renamed version of the Galaxy A42 5G. This is supported by its characteristics found in the Google Play console.
The listing shows that both the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy A42 5G have the same device code “a42xq”. The smartphone has an eight-core Snapdragon 750G (sm7225) chip, an HD + display (1339×720 pixels) and an Android 11 operating system.
