Two former Maryland health officials have been appointed to the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC).
Gene L. Dodaro, Comptroller General of the United States and head of the U.S. Government Accountability Office, announced this week that Kisha Davis, MD, MPH and Laura Herrera Scott, MD, MPH, were among the new and reappointed members of the commission.
Established by the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009, MACPAC reviews Medicaid and CHIP access and payment policies and to advise Congress on issues affecting Medicaid and CHIP.
