Acting on a tip-off, Karimganj Police launched an operation and intercepted a vehicle in the Ashimganj area under Patharkandi police station on Monday night.
In a major narcotics haul, heroin worth over Rs 45 crore was seized from a truck by a joint team of the Border Security Force or BSF and Assam Police in Karimganj district today, a police officer said.
