Congratulations are in order for Hero MotoCorp, you guys! Why? Well, because the two-wheeler manufacturer recently achieved a brand new production milestone it has now made more than 100 million units. Certainly calls for celebration. And that s exactly what Hero MotoCorp intends to do with some limited edition two-wheelers, it seems. Word has it that of this planned lot of special edition bikes and scooters, the first one to arrive in the market will be the Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition. Set to become available for retail in the country soon, the upcoming bike has already been listed on the company s website.

The Hero Xtreme 160R had the honour of becoming the two-wheeler manufacturer s 100 millionth bike and it was rolled out from the company s manufacturing facility in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

The special celebration edition models will go on sale from February 2021.
Hero MotoCorp today surpassed the cumulative production milestone of 100 million (10 crore) units, in the process becoming the first Indian automobile manufacturer to achieve the remarkable feat. The company has also announced that it will launch more than 10 products, including variants, refreshes and upgrades, every year over the next five years.

Last month, Hero MotoCorp announced its intentions to hike the prices of its scooters and bikes from January 2021. Now, the Indian two-wheeler giant has officially updated the pricing of its models, including the Xtreme 160R, Xtreme 200S and the XPulse 200.
Hero’s foray into the premium 160cc segment started with the Hero Xtreme 160R, which was priced at Rs. 1.02 lakh for the single disc variant and Rs. 1.05 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi) for the dual disc variant. Now, the updated prices are Rs. 1,03,900 and Rs. 1,06,950 respectively.
