Our predictions for 2021 are going to be tame in comparison to what actually happened in 2020. The past year has been full of surprises and we are looking forward to a much calmer year in 2021. Although after 2020 to actually surprise anyone, 2021 would have to need an alien invasion. We are not predicting that aliens will invade.
Our first prediction is that the COVID-19 pandemic will come under control in 2021. There are several vaccines and therapeutics to treat COVID-19 that have been approved in the United States, this will hopefully allow the virus to be controlled and end the lockdowns and shutdowns. A significant portion of the population should be vaccinated during the year and many people may be naturally building up their resistance by being exposed to the virus. As long as there is not a mutation that causes COVID-19 to become resistant to the treatments, 2021 should allow a return to normalcy.
