The search for the missing toddler Chesswell Makampies continues.
Police have searched the Beverly Hills informal settlement home where he was last seen and surrounding.
His father was arrested for child neglect and appeared in court.
Cape Town police are still searching for one-year-old Chesswell Makampies who went missing last month.
He was last seen on April 17 in Beverly Hills informal settlement after his father picked him up from his mother Mandy for a sleepover. The father, Cheslin Philander, was arrested and charged with child neglect for leaving Chesswell with two brothers.

Cape Town - While Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) ruled that no foul play was found in the mysterious death of a Gansbaai man, the family said they do not believe the findings.
Alwyn Andre Otto was said to have hanged himself in prison, but his family suspect foul play by police.
Otto was arrested on February 7, he was arrested for contempt of court for a drunk-driving case that happened in the Eastern Cape and was also accused of abalone poaching.
On February 8, he appeared at the Hermanus Court. On the day of his death on February 10, his sister Natasha de Wet said he called their father to ask for a lawyer.

The mother of missing four-year-old Luphiwo Mbadazayo has pleaded for assistance in finding her son, who was last seen on Tuesday.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested in Hermanus after his one-year-old son, Cheswell Makampies, went missing on Saturday, 17 April.
He appeared at the Hermanus Magistrate s Court on child neglect charges.
The mother of missing four-year-old Luphiwo Mbadazayo has pleaded for assistance in finding her son, who was last seen on Tuesday in Philippi, Cape Town.
According to Nompumzo Mbadazayo, 34, her son was last seen playing outside in an old car. He later came inside their home, put on his sneakers and left with a friend.
