Former Bolivian coup president diverted 1.21 million US dollars
La Paz, Apr 27 (Prensa Latina) Former Bolivian coup President Jeanine Añez diverted 1.21 million dollars in oil funds, under the pretext of using them to fight Covid-19 in 2020, a state official revealed.
The former president irregularly used that amount from a total of 1.731 million dollars that she requested from the state-owned Yacimiento Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), according to YPFB CEO Wilson Zelaya.
The money was part of a larger outlay for a YPFB s program to fight the pandemic in the country, ordered by former Minister of Hydrocarbons Víctor Zamora and then YPFB CEO Herland Soliz.
