The strikes and the training that we are providing to this eerie and rebels is not a strategy over the long term thats going to succeed. There needs to be more. I would like to see, but i think the American Public deserves is a congress airing on this debate so that we know what we are going to be doing before we do it. Ever since the iraq he war started, we have much more coming out of the executive branch and congress has taken a backseat and i feel like there is less accountability as it relates to Foreign Policy. No matter what side you come down alternately on the vote, the American Public deserves to hear what we are doing and before we do it. This is not only a longterm investment militarily but when the troops come home we have to care for them and we need to look at this with a clear lens. When we first went to iraq we we had the lowest members of the veterans in congress ever and you have to wonder how he made all of these blunders. I think that we need a veterans perspective
