Never shy about voicing his opinion, Sam Gradwell has spent the last several weeks repeatedly voicing his displeasure that Trent Seven is considered a âfounding father of NXT UK.â Gradwell claims that he is more deserving of such a title.
After a few arguments and physical altercations in recent weeks, the two veterans are set to collide in what should be a hard-hitting melee. );
Seven has reinvigorated his career by cutting significant weight to challenge for the NXT Cruiserweight Title and even reformed Moustache Mountain with Tyler Bate to score a win against Noam Dar and Sha Samuels. Gradwell doesnât seem impressed, however, as he has taken every opportunity to deride The Artful Dodger.

With the score knotted at 1-1 in Round 5, Samuels grabbed the leg of Frazer, who was positioned on the ring apron while the official checked on Dar. Frazer eventually booted Samuels to the floor, but the delay gave Dar enough time to recover and dodge Frazer’s springboard dropkick. Seconds later, Dar blasted his foe with the Nova Roller to claim the win.

On a must-see edition of NXT UK, Emilia McKenzie, Xia Brookside, Dani Luna, Jinny and Isla Dawn will collide in what is certain to be an edge-of-your-seat Gauntlet Match to determine the No. 1 Contender to NXT UK Womenâs Champion Kay Lee Ray.
Of course, itâs fair to wonder whether Brookside will be cleared to compete after she was savagely attacked in the backstage area last week by Amale, who rendered her newfound enemy nearly unconscious before the fracas was finally broken up by officials. );
The 20-year-old McKenzie, who recently returned to NXT UK, recently teamed with Meiko Satomura to score an eye-opening tag team victory over Ray and Dawn, but how will the relatively inexperienced competitor fare in the wildly unpredictable environment that a Gauntlet Match presents?
