会议由国家文物局主办，海上丝绸之路保护和联合申报世界文化遗产城市联盟、中国文化遗产研究院联合承办，中国古迹遗址保护协会协办。国家文物局副局长宋新潮、世界遗产中心亚太部主任景峰、国际古迹遗址理事会主席特蕾莎・帕特里西奥出席会议并致辞。 宋新潮指出，中国国家主席习近平在给第44届世界遗产大会的贺信中指出，世界文化和自然遗产是人类文明发展和自然演进的重要成果，也是促进不同文明交流互鉴的重要载体。海上丝绸之路正是人类不同文化互动和共存的见证与延续。近年来，中国在海上丝绸之路遗产的保护、研究、展示阐释、国际交流等方面取得了一系列积极成果。他表示，中国将继续加强与联合国教科文组织等国际组织、各海丝沿线国家的国际协商与合作，共同做好海丝的保护，开展主题研究，探讨跨国联合申遗�

海上丝绸之路遗产的保护与研究 主题边会在福州举办-中新网

　　国家文物局副局长宋新潮指出，海上丝绸之路正是人类不同文化互动和共存的见证与延续。近年来，中国在海上丝绸之路遗产的保护、研究、展示阐释、国际交流等方面取得了一系列积极成果。他表示，中国将继续加强与联合国教科文组织等国际组织、各海丝沿线国家的国际协商与合作，共同做好海丝的保护，开展主题研究，探讨跨国联合申遗策略，共同把全人类的宝贵历史文化财富保护好、传承好、利用好。 　　世界遗产中心亚太部主任景峰回顾了联合国教科文组织开展的“对话之路：丝绸之路整体研究”项目和以此为契机推动的丝绸之路申遗系列工作。这是数十年协调和共同保护的成果，开创了可行的先例。他引用曼德拉的名言“在事情未成功之前，一切总看似不可能”，鼓励各国继续在丝绸之路的框架下开展交流与合作。他还介绍了
