The third edition of Memory! International Film Heritage Festival will take place in Yangon from May 29 to June 7, the organisers said.
This year’s theme will be “Women” with international guests such as actresses Catherine Deneuve and Michelle Yeoh, Cheng Pei Pei and Marrie Lee, and Myanmar actresses Daw Swe Zin Htaik, Daw Khin Thida Htun and Daw Nwe Nwe San.
Several international directors like Olivier Assayas, Lana Gogoberidze and Salomé Alexi, and Myanmar director Daw Thin Thin Yu are also billed to attend the event.
Music will be also part of the program with three live cine-concerts, notably young Myanmar rock star Itö who will perform live accompaniment of silent early age feminist films.
