Augusta Regional Airport announced Tuesday flight service to and from Washington D.C. will resume next week after it was suspended at the start of the pandemic.
Service will resume February 11 to and from Ronald Reagan National Airport with American Airlines. The service began on Jan. 7, 2020 and experienced steady growth until it was suspended after the airline industry was impacted by COVID-19.
According to the airport, the reinstated flight will initially resume as a 4-day per week service, with flights arriving and departing on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays, and will increase in frequency in April.
