The Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa has been honored as one of the top colleges in the world for preparing students for careers in business analytics.
The college received the UPS George D. Smith Prize, which recognizes the leading university in the world for excellence in preparing students to practice in the areas of analytics or operations research.
“The Department of Business Analytics began a self-renewal process 10 years ago with a shift from Management Sciences to a more broadly scoped view of using analytics to solve real-world business problems.
