reporter: police say one of their officers spotted the suspect vehicle leaving the scene of the shooting, lost it, then spotted it again parked in front of another apartment complex about a mile and a half away from where the shooting happened. the car was empty so police surrounded the complex and eventually were able to arrest five suspects last night. police say they were also able to retrieve a handgun and also an assault weapon that may have been used in the shooting. the suspect, according to police, all have gang ties and range in age from 17 to 23. three of them are from morgan hill, one from san jose, another is from gilroy. police say they will have stepped-up patrols in the area since retaliation is a concern, since they believe the shooting was gang-related. in san francisco, three people are in the hospital tonight after a shoot-out in the mission district. police say they were called to 16 16th where they found three men shot. two of the victims ages 24 and
