WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) The homicide trial for Henry West will likely be delayed.
West was in a Marathon County court on Monday where officials stated they still need to talk to victims about the case and trial dates and sort out a situation with West’s defense team.
Court records also show that West’s attorney pulled out of the case in late 2020. A new attorney has been found but has indicated that they would not take the case if the June trial remains scheduled.
As it stands the May 17th through June 9th trial remains on the schedule. However, a scheduling conference has now been set for February 9th.
