Hudson Valley on edge after an increase of gun violence

Police in several Westchester cities are dealing with an uptick in gun
violence.
There has
been a string of shootings in the past week, some of them fatal.
Thursday, at about 10:30 a.m., a man in
his early 20s was fatally shot
outside a home on South 8th Avenue in
Mount Vernon. Police have not released the victim s name but News 12 has
learned he lived in the neighborhood. Investigators are still searching for a
suspect.
Just this past weekend,
there were three separate shootings just hours apart in New Rochelle.
