Irrespective of whether a Police Officer can be polite on one person to one day in one spot, people react to policies and practices in their community. Those need to be perceived as fair as well. On december 1st president obama announced his intent to form the president s task force on 21st Century Policing with the idea of coming up with concrete recommendations to build a gap in the trust between Law Enforcement and the communities they serve. Report card prayer initiative. We are asking parents to make copies of their report cards and turn them in the offering goes around. We believe those are offerings. We want the congregation to pray over them and children see this intersection of faith and study. We will have educational liaisons that help churches and parents improve the educational success of their students. They can be contacted. It is a strategic move on our part. Those are a couple of new initiatives. The faith and education education website is new. We are emphasizing that we are not pushing Public Education away any longer.
