While a majority of public school teachers who participated in a Ministry of Education sanctioned teacher morale survey said they did not feel appreciated on the job, and many said they did not feel respected, most demonstrated a positive attitude toward their jobs. But the survey found that “morale can be improved with achievable initiatives”.
