In an effort to help support Cayce Seal’s family during this time, Port City Football Club will be donating all ticket proceeds from its Tuesday matchup against Southern States SC to Seal’s family.
In 2016, Seal was a central defender for the team during its inaugural season Port City played in the Gulf Coast Premier League as Biloxi City.
Port City tells News 25 Seal was a player that you hated to play against and loved playing with.
Seal was a 4A South State champion as a sophomore with St. Stanislaus in 2009 and a state champion in 2010. He was also heavily involved with Bay area youth soccer. Director of Football Henrik Madsen said, “Well I mean obviously he was one of the original players when we first started back in the day as Biloxi City FC. It was just something we felt soccer is a really tight-knit small community. So, when a tragedy hits, we just felt like we had to try to do something.”
